It's been nearly two years since I touched my gallery on DA, and I suppose it's become part of who I used to be.

Firstly, I'd like to apologise for not updating (at all). The reality is, I've had no time to work on content, and most of the stuff that I have created over the course of the past two years has been contract work and, as a result, some is under non-disclosure. Others haven't been, but most of it has been pretty terrible, so go figure.

I was still at school when I made my last post, so I should give everyone a heads up on what I've been doing and how I've been headed with my life.

Last year (2006), I made my presence known, doing a Bach. IT and Communication Design at the Queensland University of Technology. I lasted a mere three months before I got over being patronised by lecturers with little real-world experience; that or I'm just difficult to please. Probably the latter.

Late last year, I began working for a brilliant company whose name I shan't disclose (due partly to what they do, and partly because people are nosy.) They gave me six months of experience that I couldn't have got any other way, and for that I am most grateful.

This year (2007), I regretfully left my position to persue my own interests, and invest heavily in my own company, Neural Networks Data Services Pty. Ltd, doing web hosting, co-location and managed WAN/telephony solutions for small to medium business across Australia (but with an emphasis on the south-east Queensland area). It's an amazing opportunity to be a part of a young, vibrant startup and, despite the 110 hour weeks, lack of money and lack of sleep, I'm blessed to have the opportunity to be able to be involved with the project from its conception. There is nothing more rewarding than watching your baby grow up

I'm currently in a long term relationship with a girl who I've been friends with for some years now, and I can honestly say that between my business, my relationships and my love of all things nerdy, these are looking to be the happiest years of my life.
